Sade Campbell

My husband is in the army so I’m taking care of our son alone. I have lupus and 5 other autoimmune disorders, but I don’t let it stop me!

We would like to thank you for supporting Sade Campbell in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being able to guide my son as he grows up into a functioning member of society, and to teach him to be stable and abundant in every aspect of life and being able to learn what unconditional love is

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I know a lot of moms agree when I say this, but the moment you first lay eyes on your baby even during the ultrasound before they were born is one of the most precious memories a mother could have. Feeling your child’s heartbeat on your chest for the first time was the most precious memory I’ll never forget how I felt during that moment.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would decorate my son’s room, he never had his own room before so I would create his room for his own space, I would also stock up on diapers and wipes. I would use it for a mommy make over weekend, and I would create my son a bank account and put some money aside for him. And I would get a in house baby sitter so I can do a couple medical things to better my health so I can raise my son with a full cup.
