Watching my kids grow into their own person. Seeing our once insecure daughter grow into a confident, self loving young lady has been beautiful to watch. Watching, in real time, our timid son, once full of anger, learning to cope with his emotions and processing them in a healthy way. This is what parenthood is about and it’s amazing!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I have so many. The first time they called us mommy and daddy and of course their adoption days will forever hold a special place in my heart. Those were the days we could finally see forever ahead of us without fear of losing them. But I will always remember this one day I was cooking dinner and our daughter (almost 14 then) was watching me and randomly said “I’m so thankful God picked you to be my mom”. Of course I cried and hugged her, and said we were the thankful ones to be in her life.
What would you do with $20,000?Take the whole family on a Disney cruise! Also, pay off some debt so we can finally get to a place where we can purchase our first home!
