What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Watching your kids shine. Seeing that happy face because you worked hard to make sure that they have what they need to succeed. For example my daughter dances, she loves it with all her heart. Seeing her get up there and smile and progress year after year makes my heart so full. My oldest struggled for a while but now he’s in trade school and searching for a job. I’m so glad to see him pushing forward in life instead of getting in trouble.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Honestly just this week , my 2 youngest had a day off from school. I had to work and usually they have quick things they can make and eat while I’m not there. The 3 of them kept calling me asking me where things were. Then after a while my daughter says she’s making pancakes for her and the boys. When I come home from work. My kitchen was completely clean. Not only did they make and eat breakfast together. They cleaned up what I had left from the night before. And the mess they made. Teamwork!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pay down some of my debt and I would talk my kids on a much needed vacation. I’ve never had an opportunity to take them anywhere because times are so hard. And whatever I make I try to make things run smoothly so they don’t feel the effects of me not having enough for them to experience all that life has to give them
