The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my daughter hit every milestone and growing into an independent and opinionated person full of expression and decisive orientation. I am so curious and excited as to see whom she will grow to be!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?One memory of my child that I will never forget is her telling me that her friend at school needed shoes because his shoes had holes. She wanted to give a pair of her shoes to him. It made me feel as though I was doing something right to have such a caring giver! The same way my grandmother raised me.
What would you do with $20,000?As someone who works in education and childcare, I constantly meet mothers from all walks of life, each with their own unique challenges. One thing remains consistent: moms need support. Whether single or partnered, so many are struggling to navigate parenting, advocate for themselves, and show up fully for their children.I am starting a nonprofit dedicated to empowering mothers through connection, community, and advocacy. Winning this competition would help launch the nonprofit and first event.
