One of the most rewarding things about being a mom is being loved for who I truly am. Every flaw I see in myself is met with the purest love imaginable. It doesn’t just push me to be better—it pushes me to be my most authentic self. I want my daughter to know my favorite song, my favorite movie, to pass on not just wisdom but myself. I’ve always loved deeply, but being loved this purely, even in just nine months, is something I’ve never felt before. It’s astounding.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

At just nine months, my memories aren’t just of my daughter but of our bond. Labor was traumatic—four days of trying at home before an emergency C-section because she was stuck. Through it all, I spoke to her, feeling her fight as hard as I did. When she was born, we were both in shock. She screamed, I shook—until they pressed her face to my lips. She stopped crying, and I stopped shaking. In that moment, I knew: we are each other’s rock. Together, we are complete.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would significantly change my life as a single mom starting my postpartum doula business. providing simple necessities for not only myself but my child .Motherhood often comes with this struggle, but I push myself harder than ever. I refuse to fail. This would let me step away from my main career to fully commit to my business—turning my healing into a way to support other women. I’ve always nurtured through food, and now, as a doula, I can nurture in even deeper ways.
