Receive Text UpdatesThe most rewarding part of being a mom is the joy of watching my son grow up because it is not always easy for him diagnosed with autism and ADHD and then working through grief over the loss of his sister. When you lose a child and suffer a miscarriage, you appreciate the gift of watching your living child grow up. He is becoming involved in drama, and is a good performer on the stage.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I was driving home from work one night when Corrie was still alive. It was at the end of November, and Christmas lights were up everywhere in the Fountain Park. I was never a celebrate Christmas too early. I stopped with both children skipping and in awe of all of the lights.
What would you do with $20,000?I would take my family on a dream roadtrip vacation to Colorado and California with our son, or get my son an in-ground pool because he enjoys the water, or put some into my son’s savings and help renovate our 100 plus year old house. I would add a water feature to our daughter’s memorial garden. I would include at least one spa day.
