Rachel Purnell

That when everyone else is taken care of I just sit to myself and cry on my own . I cry because I’m tired but I’m also doing a good job .

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part about being a mom is looking at how far I have come . I had my daughter young , so she grew up with me as I learned how to be a mom and then seen me become a mother again to her brother . The reward comes in to see what I have built and how genuinely they love people because of how I love them . Seeing myself in them through my eyes , and as each day passes it’s another reminder I get another chance .

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget , when we would go to the park and play pretend . My kiddos have so much imagination in them it’s unbelievable! We were an ice cream shop and my 3 year old was ordering sprinkles on a chocolate cookie . And my daughter was happy to serve it right up. I have so many funny memories of times with my kids it’s unbelievable. Good and bad . But i definitely can say , every school graduation I am the mother in the crowd cheering so loud ! And still cry in private .

What would you do with $20,000?

To be honest , I would set aside , money for my kids to be able to help pursue what they want in life as a start I would pay off my school debt , and pay for 2 more additional classes that I need . I would give tithes, pay the rent up and the money I would use that in the meantime to save for a down payment on a house . And then go on a family trip , my kids have always wanted to go to Disney so I would surprise them with that . Of course shop for myself and them . Be a blessing.
