The feeling of never feeling or being alone anymore. Knowing that after so many years of never having the family and love I always dreamed of , I could make one of my own. Omari has been the biggest blessing in my life & has truly saved me. I just want to be better and do better for him. He’s so amazing and so smart and I take pride in knowing I’m doing my best to be the best teacher and friend to him. I learn more about myself and him everyday, truly. My biggest inspiration

We lost our apartment and had to sleep in our car for a few months before finding another place. Omaris dad still had his job so while he worked we spent most days at parks the library or driving around. Although it’s something I never wanted my son to experience we pushed through and found a way. I tried my best to keep him from knowing what all was going on and did a pretty good job considering He thought we were on vacation for 2 months had lots of fun in the proc& tons of memories were made

Shortly after finding a place to live again my man lost his job. He continued searching but we soon lost our car due to non payment. With this money I’d put a down payment on a car again. We’ve been walking everywhere for 2 months and it’s no fun. We also lost everything when we got evicted and stayed in our car So I would work on replacing everything my son lost and getting furniture as we still need a lot of things. Either way I’m grateful for this opportunity and thank you for listening 🫶🏼
