Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being able to watch my kids grow into the best version of themselves and knowing that I’m one of the major and most important factor. In other to do so I’ve had to make some difficult yet important decisions in other to make sure that they’re getting the best me as much as possible. For example: Having to quit my 9 - 5 job and switching to be self employed so that my schedule is flexible enough that showing up as a mom, a wife and for myself takes priority over everything else.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

When my oldest, Mia who is 6 years old btw, decided one morning that she would help with serving breakfast to her younger ones on Saturdays so that I can get some rest and actually did. Having witnessed her actively doing so several Saturday mornings and seeing how it has not only helped me greatly but has positively developed her individually and collectively as siblings.

What would you do with $20,000?

This will not only help set up a great future for my kids by setting up businesses for all my children, but will also allow me to do other ministerial work to help other children most especially special needs children’s organization; if possible, starting one of my own back home in my country, Nigeria. Being a mom to a special need son has open my eyes to see how little programs and assistance are available for special needs children in most countries due to lack of awareness, resources, & etc.
