As a mom who was diagnosed schizoaffective disorder at the age of 26 learn that the most important people in my life are my children
We would like to thank you for supporting Phyllis Beatty in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Knowing that my kids can come and talk to me about anything I believe in not keeping secrets in my household, and we all help each other out keeping things smooth I believe, watching my kids, mature and get older is the most rewarding part of being a mom I can one day to see my grandchildren running around
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?July 10, 2024 I lost my daughter Hailey. It was a very traumatic experience for me. fell into a deep depression that I couldn’t get out of. I went to therapy. I had medication. I went to day programs and went to the hospital just to feel safe, but it wasn’t until my son Lyon heard me crying in my room one day and came and held my hand and told me I’m not alone. It was at that moment that I knew as long as we all have each other will never be alone and that Hailey is just resting
What would you do with $20,000?With the $20,000 I’m going to buy my family at home. My youngest son has autism. I want him to be able to have the space a safe space where he can have just as much fun as any other kid I want to be able to provide space for my oldest daughter who is 14 and had some scary thoughts and ended up hospitalized I need to provide her a place of hope and peace a place my son can call home.a place I will never had to move them again a place I can leave for them when things get too hard for me
