Phoebe Camden

My children… I have a 19yr old, 15yr old, 4yr old and 3yr old; my first set and my second set. Each one of them is a fragment of me. I have.

We would like to thank you for supporting Phoebe Camden in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Hearing my kids tell me they love me. Watching them grow and learn from me (whether it’s from my mistakes or not). Knowing I have that voice of guidance when they confide in me and break when they go through their first heartbreak.. . As mothers we never stop trying to make them feel safe and fix their booboos. Whether it’s a bandaid on the knee or the heart, our joy comes from the love they reflect back in those moments that are the most rewarding, I think.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

There’s not just one memory I can tell you about, there’s hundreds. I can say the moment they were born and we looked at each other the first time… or being a single mother they’re whole lives and all the crazy little road trips we took… or when I told my oldest two they were getting a little brother (who would be 14 to 11 years apart) and then the looks on they’re faces a year later and telling them again about their sister!! Wow. Or the time my oldest had his first brokenheart. Which one?

What would you do with $20,000?

We would be okay, I would make all of our lives a little better, a little easier… then maybe my children will for once in their lives not have to watch their mom struggle. That’s what I would do with $20,000.
