He challenges my patience, deepens my faith, and helps me see God’s love in a new way. Even on hard days, I look at him and think—wow, I made him, I’m raising him, and somehow, I’m doing it. That’s a blessing I’ll never take for granted.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I’ll never forget is when my son, mid-play, surprised me with a sweet kiss on the lips. For a moment, I thought he was going to bite me, as he loves playful nibbling, but instead, he showed pure affection. It made me wonder—does he truly understand love already? Another unforgettable moment was hearing him say ‘Mama’ for the first time. That tiny word melted my heart, reminding me how special it is to be his mom.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I’d put it toward a home for my growing family, creating space for a new baby and my mom to visit. I’d also fund my PhD research trip to Ghana, covering travel, accommodations, and data collection. Balancing motherhood and my academic goals is important to me, and this support would help me achieve both without compromise.
