I’m a super mom because I pour my heart into raising my kids. As a single mom, I work every day to help them become their best selves.
We would like to thank you for supporting Paula Citera in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of motherhood is watching my children grow into their own unique, amazing selves. Seeing their joy, curiosity, and resilience makes every sacrifice worth it. The love I feel when they reach for me, laugh, or learn something new is indescribable. As a single mom, it’s not always easy, but every challenge fades when I see them happy and thriving. Knowing I’m shaping their future with love and support is the greatest gift and privilege of my life.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One of my favorite memories is when my oldest daughter met her baby sister for the first time. She looked at her with such wonder, gently reaching out, already protective and full of love. In that moment, I knew they’d share a bond that would last a lifetime. Having a sister is one of the greatest joys of my life, and seeing my girls begin their journey together filled my heart in a way I’ll never forget. It was the start of a beautiful sisterhood.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I’d first invest in my children’s future—whether through their education, experiences, or opportunities that help them grow. I’d also use part of it to build my businesses, creating resources that empower other parents while securing a better future for my family. Some would go toward financial security, giving me peace of mind as a single mom. And, of course, I’d set aside a little to create beautiful memories with my daughters, because time with them is priceless.
