Osha Parks

Losing my husband was one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced, but it also pushed me to be stronger than I ever thought possible.

We would like to thank you for supporting Osha Parks in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching your child grow into their own person and knowing that you’ve played a role in shaping who they become. It’s the little moments—seeing them overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and show kindness to others—that make it all worthwhile. The unconditional love between a mother and child is unlike anything else, and the bond you build over time is something truly special. Even through the tough times, knowing that you are their source of comfort

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory of my oldest son that I will never forget is the day he graduated from college with his bachelor’s degree. Watching him walk across that stage, knowing all the hard work, dedication, and challenges he had overcome to reach that moment, filled me with overwhelming pride. It was a testament to his perseverance and determination, and seeing his joy and sense of accomplishment made every sacrifice worth it. That day wasn’t just about a diploma—it was about his journey, his future.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I had $20,000, I would use it wisely to improve both my personal and professional life. First, I would set aside a portion for savings and emergencies to create financial security. Next, I would invest in career development, whether through certifications, courses, or training that align with my goals in supply chain management, purchasing, or materials management. Additionally, I would use some of the money to enhance my home office setup, making it more efficient for remote or hybrid work.
