What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom to a son with autism is often the unique perspective and transparency he brings my life, the lessons he teaches about patience and understanding, and the profound joy of witnessing his individual strengths and achievements!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I was having a bad day. I just broke down and cried. Life was happening i was behind on my bills and I just couldn't take it anymore. I broke down in tears. My non verbal son came right up to me and cupped my face with both his hands and through his body language he was telling me that I was going to be okay. And all I could do was smile and just hugged my baby!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would start a business solely for autistic kids. I would have a daycare where parents and single mothers can bring their autistic child/children for a few hours while parents and mom have a break. I want to give back to my community. I work hard everyday to make a living for myself and my son.
