What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding thing about being a mom is being present for my kids. I love supporting my kids whether it's helping with homework, being present at a school performance or helping them pursue their dreams. I am motivated be wanting to give my kids the opportunities I did not have.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My son is almost 3. One memory I'll never forget is the joy of seeing his receptive language and his speech increase. He has autism and I feared he'd be nonverbal. I remember reading a book to him about a puppy named Biscuit that wanted a kiss. When I read that part he looked at me and blew me a kiss. I said, "You understand what I'm saying?!" My heart melted. For my daughter it has been seeing her do monologues and school and being active in her community through vocal music performances.

What would you do with $20,000?

Take my kids on a much needed vacation and put some money in savings or custodial Roth IRA for them.
