The most rewarding part of being a mom, especially as a survivor, is often just that—surviving. It’s knowing that despite everything, I made it through. And not only did I survive, but I also built and strong, loving relationships with my children, my grandkids and family. It’s seeing my children grow into adults, being present in my grandkids’ lives, and knowing that my strength helped shape their world into who they are today and who I am today!!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?The one memory I will never forget is being able to spend holidays with my family and my family spoiling my kids because my kids didn’t get to have holidays or birthdays like other kids!!
What would you do with $20,000?I would give my children and myself the dream vacation we always wanted and never had because I could never give them!! I would buy them that outfit they wanted when they were little or those shoes all the other kids had and they didn’t.
