Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I just gave birth to my daughter at age 46, and there was a time where I made my peace that being a mom may not be in my future because of my age. But thanks to the Lord Jesus, he gave me my miracle baby & I’m so overjoyed & grateful! I want to be a testimony that you’re never too old & not to give up on being a mom! I also love that I get to build generational wealth for her future, something that my husband & I didn’t get to experience growing up. To provide and care for is a blessing!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget seeing her for the first time when the doctors helped me deliver her. I had been waiting to see what she would look like and what that feeling would be like seeing her for the first time. She was so beautiful with her big eyes and she weighed over 9 pounds! I cried tears of joy, and I will never forget that moment of seeing my daughter come into this world!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would love to put the money towards our children’s book series we are writing, dedicated to our daughter. It costs money to publish the books, pay an illustrator, pay an editor, publish the book and give it the marketing it needs! I would be honored to win the prize as all 5 of our books are written and just need the funds for next steps! The books will be published in our daughter’s name, the starting her own legacy as a baby!
