I have 4 student athletes. Although challenges exist financially as a single parent I strive to provide unconditional love n stability.
We would like to thank you for supporting Nicollette E Brown in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Seeing my children happy and healthy. Watching them help others as they have been taught empathy and kindness. Having whole hearted convos and acknowledging where I came up short and acknowledging & validating their feelings so we can all grow as individuals and stronger as a family unit. Being a mother is a labor of love and the hardest job, but also the most fulfilling and rewarding. I work in L&D- I tell new mom’s: days/nights are long but years fly by. Show up everyday, be present.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? Our favorite memory is thanksgiving in Idyllwild. Me and my daughter’s birthday are a day apart and occasionally fall on thanksgiving. As a family we would stay up in the cabin for turkey dinner, play games, hike and play outside in the snow. Treasured memories to last forever.
What would you do with $20,000?First thing I would do is book a family vacation to Hawaii where we will scatter their grandfathers ashes. I would also research financial literacy and take a portion to invest to have grow, to help with the kid’s higher education. Another aspect my family has been involved in is volunteering. Our Aunt & Uncle cofounded San Diego’s Ronald McDonald house which created a home away from home for other families to be able to remain close to hospital. I will donate a portion to their fund.
