I am a super mom because I faced every challenge head-on with strength and determination. When my son was diagnosed with autism.
We would like to thank you for supporting Nicolette holmes in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom for me is the pure, unconditional love I share with my children. It’s seeing them grow, thrive, and overcome challenges, knowing that I’ve played a part in helping them become who they are. Watching my son progress and thrive, especially with his autism, fills me with indescribable pride and joy. Every milestone feels like a victory—whether it’s his first words, newfound skills, or simply moments of laughter and connection.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My most memorable moment was when my son learned to speak. It might not seem like much to others, but for me, it was everything. He was delayed in speech, and I put him through two speech therapy classes, pouring my heart into making sure he had the support he needed. The day he finally spoke words clearly, it felt like all the hard work, sleepless nights, and moments of doubt were worth it. Hearing his voice, his thoughts finally being expressed, brought tears to my eyes.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20,000, I would use it to secure a better future for my family and ensure we have stability and comfort. First, I would set aside a portion for my baby girl’s immediate needs—things like diapers, formula, clothes, and essentials to make sure she has everything she needs from day one. I’d also invest in quality postpartum care products for myself to support my recovery after the C-section. A good portion would go toward creating a savings cushion for emergencies.
