We would like to thank you for supporting Nia Southerland in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing the excitement on my daughter’s face when she’s accomplished something. She’s the happiest little person and I enjoy helping her build her confidence.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

When my daughter said “mommy” for the first time. She had a tongue&lip tie and hadn’t yet started speech therapy. She was almost 2 and we were getting ready for bed when she said “mommy” and reached for me. I just hugged her and cried.

What would you do with $20,000?

Put it into my daughter’s college/life fund.
