The most rewarding part of being a mom is just being their person. The one they run to when they’re hurt, the one they share their weird stories with, and the one who gets to witness all their firsts. It’s not about being perfect it’s about showing up, loving hard, and growing with them. The bond, the laughs, even the chaos there’s nothing like it. It’s real, raw, and the most beautiful job I’ll ever have.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I’ll never forget is giving birth to Journee 7 lbs 6 oz, no pain meds, no epidural, and about 10 family members secretly packed in the bathroom watching it all go down. Her scream was so powerful everyone joked she’d be a singer. Her first word was “Happy” thanks to Pharrell. She’d cry herself to sleep in her Minnie Mouse raincoat and boots wouldn’t let me take them off. She’s always loved to dance. She was fearless, now a little shy, but still full of light.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won the $20K, I’d use it as a stepping stone to build something meaningful a home. Not just a house, but a safe, loving space filled with laughter, warmth, and purpose. I’ve always dreamed of adopting, giving a child a chance to feel truly wanted and supported. I have one amazing daughter and a stepson I love dearly, and I know my heart has room for more. I'd also pay off my student loans so I can focus on giving back, creating a life rooted in peace, love, and second chances.
