Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing the smile on my son’s face, my son succeeding in school and finding out what he’s passionate about. He vocalize his appreciation for me as his mother and the kudos I get especially when I feel like I’m not enough or not doing enough as a single mother.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

The day of my Masters graduation. The venue was limited and my son couldn’t attend, however, right after the ceremony I drove directly to my son school. I personally didn’t disclose to any of the staff that I graduated that day but my son did to anyone who would hear. He expressed all up and down the halls how proud of me he was.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would finally be in a position to move out, of my parents place and invest in a place that my son and I can call our own. A portion would be invested in an investment account for my son’s future and lastly continue to invest in my press on nails business.
