No matter how hard it gets, I keep going for the three of us. Being a mom isn’t easy, but it’s the most powerful part of who I am.
We would like to thank you for supporting Nardia Gordon in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Watching my boys grow. It’s watching how they evolve into little versions of who they are going to be. It’s the memories of their happiest moments and hearing this is the best day ever mom! When the joy from the hard work manifest in their life I am the happiest person alive.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I will never forget is at the beach when we moved to Florida. My eldest son came up to me as I held his little brother who didn’t like the texture of the sand to tears. He said we’re going to be okay mom. His little brother hugged me and gave me a kiss. Maybe it was because of our move but that memory holds a special place in my heart like confirmation I made the right decision.
What would you do with $20,000?If I won I’d invest it into creating a better life for my boys and me. My youngest son has a rare disorder called Trifunctional Protein Deficiency. I’d use part of it to catch up on bills and breathe a little easier, and the rest would go toward growing my small DIY business, and supporting my virtual assistant services so I can build consistent income from home. I’d also finally treat my kids to something special just because no excuses needed. This money would help us succeed."
