I’m a 34 year old single SAHM of 4, 2 with Autism. I’m resilient in tough times, patient when things get chaotic, and always striving.
We would like to thank you for supporting Nakiya Robinson in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part is the love. I can have a horrible day, or some days I can be mildly depressed & I’ll get a little hand on my back, tiny kisses on my cheek. It makes me remember to be grateful for what I already have.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? My favorite memory would have to be our first Christmas together in our own home. I had my son prematurely and he came home 2 days before Christmas arrived. It made the holiday feel so perfect since we had just lost my children’s dad May 3rd of that year, it felt like bringing home a piece of heaven & he’s the only boy so we we’re all so happy to have him.
What would you do with $20,000?I would treat my kids & I to a nice vacation. I don’t have much support at home so I am unable to work or do many nice things for myself or them. I feel saddened when I’m unable to provide even the smallest things for them. I hate feeling like I’m disappointing them. So for once I would be able to make them feel as special they are to me. I’d take them anywhere they want to go. I’d pay off my bills, invest in my candle business, & help my dad for he plays a big role helping us out.
