What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding moments are when my kids succeed. I've worked long hours and late nights sacrificing a social life and marriage to be sure my kids have it better than I. And it's all worth it. My son has a scholarship playing basketball overseas. Both my daughter's are A students and amazing voellyball players and coaches. When I see them excelling in their element, I've succeeded as a mom. To top it off, when they say "thank you", that's the most rewarding moment of motherhood.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Their births. I'm sure every mom says that, but what makes you a mom is unforgettable. Each birth, each pregnancy was different. However, each birth was amazing. The first made me a mom. The second reassured my mom insecurities. The third solidified I was doing something right because God chose me to have a third baby. I remember their smell and how tiny they were. I remember their cries and watching them sleep. Being a mom is amazing.

What would you do with $20,000?

Pay off my volleyball debt for club volleyball for my 2 girls. I would then pay off my son's credit card and condo rent for a year so he can focus on basketball and school. Whatever is left over, of course for my kids. I would afford a letterman jacket for my youngest and save for her senior year. I would pay for my second child's school so she can be a nurse. By then all, the $20k will be gone.
