I gained full custody of my kids in 2021 after leaving a very toxic marriage. I am now self employed just to be available for my kids 24/7.

Being a mom has made me who I am today. It has given me a more profound perspective of life involving strength, resilience, unconditional love, as well as personal growth. Motherhood doesn’t come with instructions but that’s the beauty of it, it’s a journey that’s filled with both joy and challenges.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?We went on our first family vacation three years ago, shortly after my divorce. It was the happiest I had ever seen my kids. We made memories that they still talk about to this day. I was 30 years old traveling out of the country for the first time. To be able to give that to my kids while they are still kids felt like a huge accomplishment.
What would you do with $20,000?My 18 year old son is getting ready to adult. The money would be useful for school and a second car to get him around. We would also go on a well deserved family vacation. We deserve to see the world and experience other cultures. Having limited resources has held us back from traveling as much as we would love to. Traveling brings us all equal joy!
