Even on tough days, I don’t let struggles define me as a mother. I model strength and emotional intelligence, show them it’s ok to struggle

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom is being able to give them the knowledge and values they need to become strong leaders, men, and providers. Teaching them life lessons, responsibility, and how to treat others with kindness gives me a deep sense of pride. Knowing I’m helping shape their future is something I cherish every day.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My kids know that when I’m stressed or overwhelmed, I go jogging to clear my mind. One day, my oldest joined me, and when I got tired and wanted to stop, he encouraged me with the words, ‘You got this, Mama, keep going.’ It was such a powerful moment, reminding me that the values I’m instilling in my kids—like perseverance—will stay with them forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won $20,000, I’d take my two boys on their dream trip to Hawaii—something they’ve talked about for years. We’d explore waterfalls, swim in the ocean, and create lifelong memories together. I’d also get my oldest a PC to support his passion for technology, helping him develop skills for his future. This wouldn’t just be a prize—it would be a chance to give my boys experiences, joy, and moments they’ll cherish forever. Family is everything, and this would mean the world to us.
