What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Serving and showing up for my babies. Now that they are adults I still show up but in a different way. I’m equally rewarded when I see them get life lessons that I taught that they may be teaching to their little ones. I am super proud and understand fully the sacrifices I made as mom (stay at home) at the time to raise them pays me well when they “get it!” They have made me super proud being innovative, stellar citizens and having a heart like their mom. They now assist and run homeless care.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I remember all of them at my graduation when I received my Masters Degree. They were blown away because I maintained a 4.0 while teaching, preaching, being mom and wife. They all stated “mom you’ve raised the bar! We have no excuses!”

What would you do with $20,000?

I would have a family portrait of me and the kids, me and the grands and everyone together. We would put it towards our Annual Mother’s Day Soiree where we pamper mothers and give young moms something super special. We would also help moms with back to school and give a huge giveaway to 3-5 special moms of sons with autism. They could use the pampering and attention. As moms we learn we are all in this together! I love giving to others and my kids and grands do too.
