What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part is when you feel like you’re failing as a parent and the people who pick up on you falling apart stressing you're reminded that your doing an awesome job and to not be so hard on yourself. You can feel like everything is falling apart, and your children won’t have a clue as they shouldn’t. However, somehow, God always gives you the strength to push through.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory I can’t forget about my kids is how they feel losing their father. Words can’t express the hurt I know they feel. I wish I could take their pain away, but all I can do is be there for them and give them support and love even through my own grief. But a memory I also can’t forget is their happiness when mommy is able to make things possible for them.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would finally get my children and me a stable place to live. We’ve been struggling since my husband passed away. We are living with my n-laws and since his passing our welcome has been overstayed the living situation has made me and my children very uncomfortable because my husband killed himself right behind the house and living here has been an everyday reminder. I’m only a sahm, and he was the provider, so it has been a struggle.
