Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being able to see my kids smile and laugh. Even when they share things I really don’t care to know- it feels good knowing my girls have someone they can trust in this world and depend on. I love when my kids share something with me or I see them have an interaction that reflects the values I’ve tried to instill in them. I get excited when I see my kids excited about their passions. It feels like they truly value the encouragement I give them. That feeling is irreplaceable.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My kids were doing an obstacle course at an indoor play place. One of the sections required them To be up high on a tightrope type of situation. I saw them get very scared and nervous and I could see the anxiety building up. I watched as they took a deep breath and completed the mission with just a little help from the staff. I was so proud of their courage when they are so young.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would either purchase a vehicle. Or potentially use it as a down payment on a home if I could qualify. I always daydream that I would take the girls on a mini cruise or vacation and when we come back instead of coming to Our apartment we would pull up to our new house and say “who’s house is this?” And I could say “ours!!”
