What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mom for my daughter is knowing that despite the abusive challenges she and I have overcome is being her role model and knowing that I am able to keep her safe now. Knowing that I have created a safe haven for us, knowing that she is my life, my motivation and everything to me is my reward and everything. She is the reason I do everything and my reason for living. As long as I can keep her safe nothing else matters to me.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory that I will never forget with my daughter is being able to take her to Disneyworld. When she was 6, all she wanted was to go and make a wish and have it come true. When we went I didn’t know a new ride had opened, we didn’t have a pass to access, she blew out a candle on her birthday for a pass we went and tried to ride and a worker let us on. She cried and said Disney makes wishes come true. I will never forget the look of magic come true in her eyes. Unforgettable!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pay some of my bills off because I fell for a close friend’s scam and owe money that unfortunately I wish I didn’t trust her even though she was a childhood friend. I have to pay that loan back. So I can hopefully begin to buy a home for my daughter. But definitely pay off debt.
