Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I remember looking into the eyes of each of my eight babies, the day they were born. In those moments, I felt love in the most pure form. In those moments, I vowed to love them until I took my last breath. The most rewarding part of being a mom, is knowing that every drop of blood I shed, every tear shed, every sacrifice made for them, hasn't been in vain! Watching them grow and evolve into who they came here to be is the most rewarding part of being their mother! They are amazing human beings!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One memory that I won't ever forget, is us spending Christmas of 2021 together. Now that I have a few adult children, it is sometimes challenging for all of us to get together. This particular Christmas, everyone was able to make it, and my heart was full of joy watching all of my babies laughing, playing games, and just loving one another. It was also a special memory, because we were all awaiting the arrival of the very first grandchild of mine, and niece of theirs!!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use $20,000 to go towards purchasing a home for the first time, for us as a family. Throughout our lives together, we have experienced being displaced at times, and had to live with family or friends. One thing I promised myself that I would do, is to one day purchase a family home, so we won't have to worry about where we will live ever again! It will become the home base for all of my babies, and their families as they start to build their own. Yes, it will be the safe space for us!
