Connect What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

I think it's watching my daughter bless other people with her caring heart, her compassion, her integrity, her talents, and her generosity. She is a beautiful person who has by God's great grace overcome the obstacles of having a single mom and I am rewarded when I see that she's the kid other parents want their kids to look to as an example, when she gives her friends wise advice, when she prays for people, when she babysits another single mom's kids. I'm very blessed.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My daughter is a competitive speaker and debater and we're in her last year of competition in high school. I'll never forget watching her give an impromptu speech this year that touched and inspired her judges so much that one of them was brought to tears. I was approached by 3 judges at this tournament because they wanted to tell me how amazing my daughter is. I'm so happy and proud and thankful to get to see her grow into a beautiful young woman. I'll never forget her senior year.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use the $20,000 for three things: 1. to help my daughter with education expenses as she just graduated high school (with honors!🥰❤️) 2. I would invest into my almost 1-year old vegan/gluten-free micro bakery. My ultimate goals for this company are to leave a legacy to my daughter and future grandchildren, to employ and support other single moms, and to make vegan&gf dessert mainstream 3. I would also put a portion of it into savings&mutual funds.
