What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Being a mother of 14 yr old boy-girl twins is the greatest blessing it fills my heart with joy. The journey to motherhood was far from easy; many years struggling with infertility. Failed attempts of IUI and IVF. Finding out later the struggles were caused from the burn pits in Iraq. Each challenge made my twins arrival even more precious. Their laughter & unique personalities remind me daily of life’s miracles. I cherish every moment, grateful for the love & resilience that shaped our family.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

One of my most favorite memories is when my daughter decided to paint my son, his pjs, and our couch with an entire tube of Desitin. My husband was supposed to be watching them and ran to the bathroom for just a moment. When he came out he found her completed master piece.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would take my family on a relaxing Disney cruise, fulfilling their long-time dream. The joy of sailing together, enjoying the magic of Disney, and creating unforgettable memories would be priceless. We would indulge in the fun activities and explore some amazing destinations, making it a trip of a lifetime. After the cruise, I’d set aside the remaining funds in savings for a rainy day or possibly use it to help update our backyard for all of us to enjoy.
