The most rewarding part of being a mommy is being able to give my son and my future kiddos everything that my heart desired as a kid but I could voice that I needed and wanted. Giving my kids a space to be kids. A big thing for me is always providing a listening ear with no judgement even when it’s hard to process.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I was going through physical and emotional abuse the entirety of my pregnancy. I thought I was going to lose my son numerous times. From spotting to unbearable pains. One night I was alone and hysterical in bed and all of a sudden I feel this flutter in my belly, and I realized it was my son moving for the first time. It was like he was telling me “mommy it’s okay we have each other now”. I knew right then that my life was complete. A moment I’ll never forget in one of my darkest times.
What would you do with $20,000?First I would give my tithing to my church. I would also give money towards the homeless shelter my church is building in our community. Then I’d put money away in my son’s “Future piggy bank”. The last thing I would hope to accomplish is to have a house of our own.
