What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a Mom is being able to instill the values given to me as a child into the lives of my children. I was raised by my Great Grandmother (Nana) and she taught me from a small girl to pray and always trust God. She taught to respect my elders and always remember where I can from and always give back to other less fortunate than me, and to value education, she said people can take away your money, home, car, but they can never take away your education.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

My children will say that they will never forget how, I would go without eating to make sure they had food. They would say they remember how I did not buy anything for myself even underwear to make sure they had the basic necessities of life. They would say our Mom made so many sacrifices to make sure we survived. They would say our Mom took many beatings from our dad trying to protect us. We will always remember how as a single mom she provided for us.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I was blessed with $20,000.00 I would first pay tithes to my Church, put some money away for my grandchildren’s future. When my daughter lost her parenteral rights, I adopted four of my grandchildren with my husband who died unexpectedly last year, so now I’m raising them as single grandmother. Then I would put some money away for my retirement, and I love going cruised take a cruise, and I want to visit Paris and England. I also have a homeless ministry and I would be able to buy supplies.
