What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Honestly, I love hearing my daughter’s little giggles. I love how loving and affectionate she is. Her hugs, with her little arms just melts my heart and drives any worries I had away. I love the satisfied little sighs my 2 month old son makes after a breastfeed. Knowing that I provided him comfort and he knows he is safe and loved! Even during a tantrum from my 2 years old, I know that she is only able to express herself freely because she too, feels that she is in her safe space with me.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I will never forget my daughter’s proud face when she made her first real steps. Her little laughter as she advanced step by step. I will never forget my son’s cries as the doctors pulled him out of my womb. As he is a premie, and so it wasn’t guaranteed he’d be able to breathe on his own. But he surpassed all the odds that were believed to be set against him.

What would you do with $20,000?

I know this may sound cliche. But a great amount would go towards my children as savings for them. Make sure they don’t struggle as much as I did growing up. And of course partial would go towards paying off some of my own debts to make sure they don’t grow up accruing my debts as well.
