I found out I was pregnant and had cancer in the same week. I was scared—then I put on my super mom cape and fought like a mother.

Receive Text UpdatesThe most rewarding part of being a mom is how my kids see me—with total faith and endless love. They believe I can fix anything, do anything, be anything. And because of them, I believe it too. I have built-in accomplices for dance parties in the kitchen and spontaneous snuggles on the couch. Watching them learn, grow, and find joy in the little things reminds me what life’s really about—and makes me feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I’ll never forget the road trip we took to see the full solar eclipse—right in the middle of my cancer treatment. I was 8 months pregnant, with a 1-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a very brave husband behind the wheel for 16 hours round-trip. We stopped at Hocking Hills and spent the day hiking, watching waterfalls, and tossing rocks into the water. It was exhausting, beautiful, and exactly what we needed. That day reminded me that even in the hardest times, joy finds a way in.
What would you do with $20,000?This may not be the Super Bowl, but if I won, we’d be going on a family vacation! After everything we’ve faced together, I want to give my kids a little bit of magic. I want them to feel wonder, to make memories we’ll hold onto forever. And with what’s left, I’d pay down medical debt—because peace of mind is its own kind of magic, too. It would help me focus on what matters most: my family, our health, and this beautiful life we’re building together
