I raised my daughter as a single mother. Always worked hard to save to send her to college. Supported her hopes & dreams with lots of love.

Unconditional love from a human I helped create. For me, it’s the closeness I feel with my daughter. We have always had a candid relationship to talk openly about those hard subjects from a young age. She is supportive of me, just as I am to her. The fact that I have a front row seat to watch her life unfold and be her biggest cheerleader makes me proud to be her Mom. She is charismatic, genuine; tenacious, and successful. As a single mom you always question if you did everything right.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?One of the fondest memories for me is how close my daughter was to my parents. She was raised in the same household as them; as I was their primary care provider for many years. They treated her just like one of their children and nurtured her as much as I did, really. She always brought them hope and a purpose to keep living. We lost my Mom 3-1/2 years ago and my Dad about 18 months ago. Their legacy carries on in a granddaughter who loved them very much. My daughter looks just like my Mom!
What would you do with $20,000?I would definitely plan a vacation with my daughter for a much needed break for both of us. I would also take some of the money and pay off some bills or buys some new living room furniture.
