What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

Seeing my kids smile! Life takes a toll the older you get & we just forget! Stepping back & being able to have a fresh outlook from an innocent child & experience those beautiful reminders w/ someone we love.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I have so many memories that I pray I will never forget from ones that make me laugh to ones that make me cry & every emotion in between but one that stands out is when my oldest daughter grabbed my face when I was crying and took my forehead kissed me, wiped my tears & told me she loved me! I was supposed to be the comforter but she comforted me! It was a pivotal moment in my life for me to drag myself up, regardless of a past, & recreate a future!

What would you do with $20,000?

As a full-time working single mom of two girls and a college student, winning $20,000 would mean the world. We’d celebrate with ice cream, I’d catch up on important bills, and save the rest. Life has taught me to navigate both feast and famine. I’m applying to a highly competitive program this fall, and if accepted, balancing school, work, and motherhood will be tough. Having a financial cushion would ease the stress and help me stay focused on building a better future for us.
