The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching my daughter courageously face her fears and challenges head-on, never giving up. Being there to support her through new experiences and sharing in her joy when she masters a new skill or reaches a milestone—celebrating with her as she exclaims, “Yayyyy, Teegie did it!”—is an incredible gift. She teaches me every day to find joy in the smallest moments and to embrace life with gratitude and hope.

Taking Tegan to Unicorn world for her 2nd birthday. watching her soul light up as we walked in. She ran to join the dance party and wave at all the “neighs” and say hi and give them hugs! She still talks about the “orange neigh” we rode together. She was so full of excitement and joy all day and couldn’t wait to tell grandma and grandpa all about her day when we got home!

I would use it towards a home for Tegan and myself to call our own. I work 2 jobs and drive for uber eats on my lunch breaks to save up for our home. Right now we are living in my parents house and while I am so incredibly grateful, my dream is to have a peaceful oasis of our own that we call “Home.” Right now she identifies “Dadas house” and “grandma and grandpa’s house” and I want to give her “Tegan and mama’s house.” A stable home that she is able to grow up in.
