Being a mom has gotten me to slow down and be more present! I’ve truly learned the meaning of unconditional love! Watching my son grow, learn, and develop this little personality brings me immense pride and fulfillment. I get to have fun, play, and be a kid with him right now. When he gives me a big smile or a deep belly laugh I can’t help but to smile and laugh with him! Ultimately, the ability to shape and nurture another person’s life is an incredibly fulfilling experience.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? So far everything has been so memorable for me! Getting to experience his “first” everything with him is something I have truly enjoyed. I would have to say his first holidays have been some of the best memories I've made with him so far. It's been such a special time, and I cherish every moment we've shared together. My mom has sent him a special outfit for every holiday so far and it is so fun watching everyone swoon over how cute he is.
What would you do with $20,000?If I had $20k, I would probably focus on a mix of investing in my future and improving my present. I'd consider saving a portion for long-term goals, like a down payment on a home at my next duty station. I’d also treat myself and my loved ones to something meaningful. We’ve been wanting to plan a trip to Disney World for a while. I can only imagine how fun this experience would be and the amazing memories we would make. Lastly, I’d likely use part of the money to pay down my current debt too.
