The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing my kids happy, knowing they feel safe and loved despite everything we’ve been through. Their smiles, laughter, and resilience remind me every day that I am breaking cycles and building a better future for them
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?One memory I will never forget is the night before their birthday party in 2021. They were so excited, but that night turned into a nightmare when I survived domestic violence. That moment changed our lives, but it also fueled my strength to rebuild. I’ve since worked hard to create new, joyful memories for themones filled with love, not fear.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use this money to help others who, like me, have had to rebuild without family or support. Whether it's emergency assistance, shelter, or emotional encouragement, I want to give back. I would also take a much needed vacation with my kids. something we’ve been desperate to do,replacing painful memories with happy ones and show them how far we've come.
