I’m a resilient single mom, DV survivor, NICU warrior, beauty mentor, business owner and faith-filled woman raising strong, loved children.
We would like to thank you for supporting Marlene Carabajal in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom is watching who my children are becoming—seeing them grow, flourish, and find their voice through love and guidance. There’s nothing more fulfilling than witnessing them pray, worship, and extend kindness to those around them. It’s in those quiet, powerful moments that I see the impact of everything I’ve poured into them, and it reminds me that even in the hardest seasons, the seeds of faith, love, and compassion truly take root.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? The moment I got away from a toxic environment, my 2-year-old—who barely spoke—looked at me and clearly said, “Mom, I’m happy.” That moment broke me open in the best way. And seeing the glow of admiration in my daughter’s eyes as she watched her mother rise, heal, and become whole again—that’s the kind of moment that stays in your soul forever. It reminded me why I fight, why I grow, and why I’ll never stop becoming the woman they deserve to look up to.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I would first recover from financial setbacks that followed a challenging season of illness and personal transition. The remainder would go toward supporting women and children in need—because I believe money is only as powerful as the good it creates. I’ve lived through hardship, but giving back is part of my purpose and healing.
