I am a super mom because I balance support & independence, always showing love patience & dedication to my kids’ growth and their happiness.
We would like to thank you for supporting Markisha Green in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The most rewarding part of being a mom with two college aged girls is seeing them grow into independent strong women. Both have excelled academically, and it’s fulfilling to know that I’ve played a role in shaping who they are in the moments when they seek my advice or share their achievements remind me of the bond that we share. Watching them support each other as they navigate adolescence is reqarding, knowing that I’ve been a steady source of love, guidance and integrity thru their journey.
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget? One memory I’ll never forget is when my daughters and I were at church, singing and dancing together during a special service. We were part of the church choir, and there was something magical about all of us along with the congregation coming together in music and movement. The joy and connection we share during that moment with the music, lifting our spirits, left me with a deep sense of gratitude. It was a perfect blend of faith, family, and fun that I always cherish.
What would you do with $20,000?I would pay off the remainder of education expense for my youngest daughter because my oldest daughter is completing her final year in college and has done so successfully winning scholarships to cover her portion. It is important to me to show my girls how to be fiscally responsible, and a goal for them to graduate college with little to no debt.
