I make sure they KNOW they are loved! I make sure they are healthy physically and mentally. And,support all of their activities. Sacrifice!

The most rewarding part of being a mother for me is seeing my boys smile and laugh! Every day life is hard! Knowing that they have the education and tools they need in life to be happy makes all the sacrifices worth it. I try to make opportunities for fun and connections away from “screens” with the boys. Family time is important. So, we have board game night, random picnics, dance parties in the living room, trips to the Farmers Market, arts and craft day, and eat as a family together!
What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?I will never forget the day I had to tell my boys I had Stage 3B Breast Cancer in 2023. I knew it would upset them! I didn’t want to make them sad. But, I also knew I had to prepare them for what was coming. I have always chosen to be straightforward and honest with the boys. I talked them through our divorce, when they started having questions about their bodies and sex, and about my diagnosis and treatment plan. We cried about it together but, I also assured them that Mommy would be alright!
What would you do with $20,000?I have always wanted to take the boys to Disney World but, the prices now are crazy high. So, I would definitely put a portion of it away for them in a RothIRA if the rules allow. But, I also want to plan a family trip to Disney World! I believe they would be super excited about it. If possible, I would also like to use a portion of it to help fund my NonProfit organization to help Breast Cancer patients experience Holistic Wellness through Yoga retreats and all natural beauty products.
