The most rewarding part of being a mom is seeing their smile and unconditional love. When you don’t think they are listening, they display they heard you through actions. Even when you feel like you aren’t doing enough. Your kids tell you how much they love you. Showing they love you through their actions. Cleaning up when not being told, being kind to others, making honor roll, great citizenship, being respectful to their elders. Most importantly others telling you how great of a mom you are.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

A memory I will never forget is all of their births. I had my oldest at 20, learning motherhood fresh. In labor for 20 hours, so worth it seeing my precious baby boy. Then 4 years later finding out I was having twins. I was nervous thinking I wouldn’t know them apart, or how chaotic it would be. Everything was perfect, they were so beautiful and in sync. I knew them apart right away. Waited many years, had my last two in 2021 (girl) and 2023 (boy) in the height of Covid. So alert and advanced.

What would you do with $20,000?

I would like to take my children to Disney World with all the cute matching outfits. I would invest in a small business so I could spend more time with my children. Create a business I can include my children. As a nurse, I work long hours. I would also pay for their sports and summer camp fees. Last but not least, set aside some for a down payment on a home. I want my children to see me as a homeowner in this lifetime. Give them the big backyard to play in, make more wonderful memories.
