Marissa Fulks

Every mom is a super mom, but what makes me a super mom is my ability to plan, pivot, think on my toes, and to think outside of the box!

We would like to thank you for supporting Marissa Fulks in this year's Super Mom competition. Your participation allows us to aid Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in their commitment to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

The most rewarding part of being a mother is witnessing growth and development within your child. The unconditional love and connection that only you and your child share. Your child’s smile, their laughter, the shared joy of learning together and shaping each other’s lives with every little moment that passes. Personal growth and transformation is inevitable for the both of us and it’s so rewarding to be a part of. Being a mother changes everything and for me it’s been the best change ever!

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

Thus far my favorite memories would be the entire newborn phase. I relish in the dependency, the endless snuggles and love, the baby scrunch and coos. The newborn phase is so short and you only get to enjoy it for 8 short weeks. So I have learned to slow down, to prioritize and soak in every moment of being a new mom because it won’t be long before my child starts to become more independent. I never want to forget the newborn stage, ever.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won the $20,000 I would invest in my child’s future. Whether that be college, a business venture, or maybe it’s a new car. Whatever my child decides to do with his future, I want to support it! A lump sum of money as such can truly make a difference in anyone’s life, and I want to make the difference in my child’s life.
