What is the most rewarding part of being a mom?

My husband and I both work first responder jobs, so there are many times we have to rely on family to help us out with our kiddos, whether that’s taking our daughter to soccer practice or staying the night and getting her ready for school the next day! I just gave birth 2 months ago, so every night when both children are happy, fed, bathed, and tucked in bed; I feel so blessed to be able to hold down the fort while my husband has to stay at the fire station many days through the week.

What is one memory of your kids that you will never forget?

I remember my husband and I racing to our daughter’s back to school night, where she had a project there of “What I want to be when I grow up.” I lost it in tears when she drew a military girl and wrote she wanted to be a soldier and protect our country.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 I would love to have a nice family vacation! I would love to take all of our family who has helped me through my mom journey! We recently just bought a house, so just trying to survive in this economy!
